Acceptable stay, some issues noticed

easy check-ingreat locationexcellent barstretched stafflong waitmalfunctioning blinds
Check-in was easy. The location is great, close to many amenities. The bar proved excellent and offered a good selection of drinks. I found the restaurant quite good as well.
Staff seemed stretched, a problem . It took over twenty minutes to take a breakfast order. Another twenty minutes passed before the food arrived. Blinds in my room did not work, so the room was not dark enough for restful sleep.

The breakfast was good, a nice way to start the day.
I found the service at the bar slow, frustrating. There seemed to be some confusion about where to order drinks. The whole experience just wasn't what I hoped for.

non-functional towel railmisleading drink
I was a little disappointed . the heated towel rail in the bathroom wasn't working, despite reporting it. This made it difficult to dry my towels. also, the complimentary drink offered in lieu of housekeeping was limited to only coffee or non-alcoholic options up to £7.50. i expected something more substantial, especially since i chose to forgo housekeeping for it.
